Helen Frankenthaler (December 12, 1928 – December 27, 2011) was an American abstract expressionist painter. Her large-scale, color-saturated abstract expressionist paintings are gorgeous!

isn’t she great! i’d never heard of her before but i’m so excited to find a wonderful femail abstract artist from the 60’s!
