Wonders: Vol 2

Wonders: Vol 2

This is a significant photo for me.  Back in the days of film cameras, this was one of my first “artistic” photos.  I can’t tell you how many people saw it and asked “why?” and how many times I had to explain that it was artistic.  This was usually followed by a wry smile and a befuddled shake of the head.

Declaring something art or artistic is often fraught with disapproval from those who believe everything must be functional and that even art must have a message.  There is no meaning in this photo, no message, only a pleasing shade of faded pink which I enjoy.

I remember this photo! And wow – look at how uncannily it meshes with your logo design . . .

It’s funny, isn’t it… When two people come at a complete impass. In the same way they don’t get “art,” we don’t get “no art.” There’s not much to do except stare at eachother in confusion.
