I am a proud, self-taught web designer! I designed my first website for an accounting firm in 2000 and haven’t looked back.
As Communications Manager for a large medical research institute in Cambridge, MA, I built and managed several websites, designed graphics for international organizations, and managed social media strategy.
Meanwhile, I freelanced as a brand and website designer for local bands, photographers, small businesses, and independent consultants. Finally, in 2018, I took my design business full time.
I love using my creativity and years of experience to help independent business owners!
History
When I was six weeks old, my parents moved from Detroit to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We lived outside in a tent while they built a cabin from stone scavenged from farmers fields and other materials.
Over the years, my parents have started several small businesses, from pottery, to furniture upholstery, to sculpture and writing. If they didn’t know how to do something, they learned and gave it a try.
That’s why I say that I’m an entrepreneur, raised by entrepreneurs and why self-starters are my favorite people to work with.
