Here is a little preview of my photoshoot from yesterday. I love how these photos turned out! I will be using them in my social media content and my website headers.⁠

I had been wanting to take some photos for a long time but had been gathering some items I needed. Surprisingly, finding a backdrop was the most challenging bit. It took a while but it was worth it! Look out for an IGTV about the process.

It's Monday and the coffee pot is brewing. Today is an all day coffee kind of day, I think. ☕️⁠

But!... I'm feeling energized to get my business organized and streamlined. It's been a process but every step brings me closer to feeling like I have it together. And it shows with my client interactions. Clients LOVE a smooth process and I want to give it to them. Here's the equation:⁠

organization = calm (for both me and the client!)⁠

Introverts on social media is an interesting topic and one I would like to spend some more time on. Because what's more social than 'social media'?⁠⁠

But for now, this from an excellent @theatlantic article "Caring for Your Introvert" by Jonathan Rauch: ⁠⁠

"Introverts are not necessarily shy. Shy people are anxious or frightened or self-excoriating in social settings; introverts generally are not.... after an hour or two of being socially 'on,' we introverts need to turn off and recharge. ... This isn't antisocial. It isn't a sign of depression. It does not call for medication. For introverts, to be alone with our thoughts is as restorative as sleeping, as nourishing as eating."⁠⁠

Thank you for all your feedback on yesterday's IGTV about how introverts can (comfortably) show up on video!⁠

This all started as a rambling voice memo to myself that I edited into something coherent. I do worry that I lost some of the passion I initially expressed about the topic to the editing process but, overall, like how it turned out.⁠

As you can imagine, it took being in the right frame of mind, many takes, and a lot of editing to show up on that video. Now I'm going to go running back to may video comfort zone. Byeeee! ...
